Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty coffee drinks including espresso, lattes, and cold brew to exact quality standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and order accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness of espresso machines, brewing equipment, and service areas
- Operate POS systems efficiently while handling cash and digital transactions
- Support inventory management and restocking of coffee beans, syrups, and supplies
- Collaborate with team during peak hours to ensure seamless café operations
- Adhere to food safety protocols and health department regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of barista or food service experience preferred
- Proficiency in espresso machine operation and milk texturing techniques
- Strong customer service skills with ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Food Handler's certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
