Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare specialty coffee drinks using espresso machines, pour-over methods, and alternative brewing techniques
- Deliver personalized customer service with product knowledge and warm hospitality
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of the barista station, equipment, and seating areas
- Process POS transactions accurately and efficiently while upselling seasonal promotions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations during peak hours
- Contribute to inventory management and order supplies sustainably
- Develop and share coffee knowledge through regular training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional coffee preparation experience required
- Deep understanding of coffee varieties, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to engage diverse clientele
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments while maintaining composure
- Food safety certification preferred (ServSafe or equivalent)
- Proficiency with POS systems and digital order processing
