Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using premium beans and artisanal techniques
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and POS systems with precision
- Deliver warm, personalized customer interactions while maintaining order queue efficiency
- Maintain spotless workspace, equipment sanitation, and inventory management
- Collaborate with team during peak hours to ensure seamless service
- Develop product knowledge to recommend seasonal specialties and pairings
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive cafe culture
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 6+ months customer service or food service experience (preferred)
- Ability to stand 6-8 hours and lift 25 lbs regularly
- Strong multitasking skills in high-volume settings
- Basic math aptitude for cash handling and transactions
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
