Responsibilities
- Design and implement perception systems using LiDAR, radar, and camera data fusion
- Develop real-time decision-making algorithms for autonomous navigation
- Validate safety-critical systems through simulation and physical testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in AI, robotics, and vehicle engineering
- Document technical specifications and contribute to patent filings
- Stay current with SAE Level 4/5 autonomous standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- M.S. in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field (Ph.D. preferred)
- 3+ years experience in autonomous vehicle systems or robotics
- Expertise in C++, Python, and ROS/Rust programming
- Strong background in machine learning and computer vision
- Experience with sensor fusion and SLAM algorithms
- Familiarity with automotive safety standards (ISO 26262)
- Published research in autonomous systems or relevant conferences
