Responsibilities
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead high-impact research projects focusing on the intersection of AI and quantum computing to solve real-world engineering challenges.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a diverse team of researchers, data scientists, and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Strategic Planning: Define the technical roadmap for our research division, identifying emerging trends and technologies relevant to the 2026 timeline.
- Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to translate theoretical research into scalable, deployable software solutions.
- Publication & Thought Leadership: Author high-impact white papers and present at top-tier conferences to establish Nexus Future Systems as an industry authority.
- Resource Allocation: Oversee budget management and ensure the optimal allocation of computational resources for experimental models.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in AI/ML research, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior technical role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq).
- Research Ability: Proven track record of publishing research in reputable journals and conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle ambiguous problems and devise innovative, mathematical solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
