Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with global standards (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Lead cross-functional bias audits across ML pipelines and deployment systems
- Develop real-time AI transparency dashboards for stakeholder communication
- Create educational programs for engineering teams on responsible AI practices
- Advocate policy positions at industry forums and regulatory consultations
- Partner with product teams to integrate ethical safeguards from ideation to deployment
- Measure and report on AI ethics KPIs including fairness, accountability, and transparency
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in AI governance, responsible tech, or ethics compliance
- Deep expertise in bias detection/mitigation techniques for ML systems
- Proven track record influencing corporate AI policy and product design
- Familiarity with regulatory landscape (GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published work on AI ethics or demonstrated thought leadership in the field
- Experience with Python for bias auditing tool development
