Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for autonomous AI systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across AI model lifecycles
- Design stakeholder engagement protocols for AI impact assessments
- Lead cross-functional working groups on AI policy and regulatory compliance
- Author whitepapers on emerging ethical challenges in generative AI
- Establish metrics for quantifying AI system transparency and accountability
- Advocate for human-in-the-loop requirements in high-stakes AI deployments
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Ethics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years' AI ethics experience
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and global AI regulatory landscapes
- Proven track record publishing in top-tier AI ethics journals or conferences
- Expertise in bias detection algorithms and fairness metrics implementation
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams on AI system design
- Strong background in risk assessment methodologies for complex systems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical ethics to diverse audiences
