Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments in machine learning pipelines
- Develop corporate AI ethics policies aligned with EU AI Act and emerging US regulations
- Lead cross-functional working groups on responsible AI deployment
- Advocate for ethical AI principles in industry forums and regulatory consultations
- Quantify societal impact of AI deployments through ethical risk modeling
- Train engineering teams on ethical AI development practices
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or tech ethics roles
- Deep expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and emerging US AI regulations
- Proven experience implementing bias mitigation techniques in ML systems
- Strong background in policy development and stakeholder engagement
- Public speaking experience at tech ethics conferences
- Familiarity with AI explainability tools (SHAP, LIME, Counterfactuals)
- Published work on AI ethics or responsible innovation
