Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical risk assessment frameworks for AI systems
- Conduct adversarial testing to identify bias and fairness vulnerabilities
- Develop industry-leading AI transparency protocols and explainability methods
- Partner with engineering teams to integrate ethical safeguards into production pipelines
- Lead stakeholder workshops on responsible AI deployment strategies
- Author white papers and contribute to international AI policy discussions
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging ethical AI methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years researching AI ethics, bias mitigation, or algorithmic fairness
- Published work in top-tier AI ethics or machine learning conferences
- Proficiency with Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Experience conducting ethical audits of deployed AI systems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating real-world AI ethics implementations
