Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous decision systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning pipelines
- Develop real-time monitoring tools for ethical compliance in production AI
- Lead stakeholder workshops to establish ethical AI protocols
- Author technical documentation for regulatory compliance (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Mentor junior engineers on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI/ML with 3+ years in ethics or governance roles
- Expertise in fairness metrics (e.g., AIF360, Fairlearn)
- Experience with regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act)
- Strong programming skills in Python and TensorFlow/PyTorch
- Published research in AI ethics or responsible AI conferences
- Ability to translate ethical principles into technical specifications
