Responsibilities

- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for all AI systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards in code
- Create transparent AI governance policies for regulatory compliance
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with stakeholders worldwide
- Produce public-facing transparency reports on AI decision-making
- Mentor junior teams on responsible AI implementation practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years in AI governance, tech ethics, or compliance leadership
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Published research on algorithmic bias mitigation
- Experience with large-scale AI system auditing
- Certification in Responsible AI (e.g., IBM, Google)
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
