Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce AI governance frameworks ensuring compliance with evolving regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Conduct ethical risk assessments for AI systems using structured methodologies like HIA and AI Impact Assessments
- Lead stakeholder engagement with regulators, industry consortia, and civil society organizations
- Design bias detection protocols and mitigation strategies for ML models
- Create transparency documentation for AI systems including model cards and datasheets
- Train cross-functional teams on ethical AI development practices
- Monitor emerging AI regulations and adapt organizational policies proactively
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Law, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in AI governance, compliance, or technology ethics
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Expertise in bias detection and fairness metrics for machine learning systems
- Proven experience developing ethical AI policies and implementation roadmaps
- Strong stakeholder management skills with regulatory bodies
- Publication record in AI ethics or related fields
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design) preferred
