Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for generative AI systems deployed in healthcare, finance, and autonomous infrastructure
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments using advanced statistical modeling tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed ethical considerations into the AI development lifecycle
- Lead stakeholder workshops with C-suite executives and regulatory bodies on responsible AI adoption
- Author industry white papers on emerging ethical challenges in quantum-enhanced AI
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical AI methodologies and responsible innovation practices
- Stay ahead of regulatory developments in AI governance across North America and EU markets
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or related field with 5+ years applied AI ethics experience
- Proven track record designing governance frameworks for large-scale AI deployments
- Expertise in fairness metrics, explainable AI (XAI) techniques, and bias mitigation strategies
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 42001 and NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex ethical concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience working with regulatory bodies (FTC, IEEE, EU AI Act committees) preferred
- Publication record in top-tier AI ethics journals (e.g., ACM FAccT, Nature Machine Intelligence)
- Proficiency in Python for ethical auditing and statistical analysis
