Key Responsibilities
As a 2D Web Interaction Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement complex 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL (for 2D contexts).
- Develop high-performance, interactive animations and transitions that enhance user experience without compromising on load times.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and high-fidelity mockups into pixel-perfect, functional code.
- Optimize rendering performance and memory usage across various devices and browsers.
- Build reusable components and libraries to streamline the development of 2D features within our product ecosystem.
- Debug and resolve complex cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices for 2D graphics and interaction.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development, specifically focusing on 2D graphics and interactions.
- Deep proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, React, or Vue).
- Expert knowledge of the HTML5 Canvas API and SVG manipulation.
- Strong understanding of the RequestAnimationFrame loop, performance profiling, and optimization techniques.
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX) and version control (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Portfolio demonstrating high-quality 2D interactive work or case studies.
