Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology roadmap aligned with emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead research initiatives on disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Present strategic technology forecasts to executive leadership and investors
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Analyze competitive landscapes and patent landscapes for emerging tech
- Design innovation frameworks for long-term product development pipelines
- Represent the company at global tech summits and futurist forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting tech adoption cycles (2018-2025 experience preferred)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience building cross-functional innovation ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
