Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, biotech) with 2026 market potential
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with company's 10-year vision
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present future technology scenarios to C-suite executives and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Drive creation of patentable intellectual property in next-gen domains
- Mentor junior futurists through our 'Horizon Scanning' program
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar peer-reviewed journals
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, or neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic (for global partnerships)
- Portfolio of 2026+ technology blueprints or patents
