Responsibilities
- Develop predictive technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies before mainstream adoption
- Design governance frameworks for emerging tech risks (deepfakes, autonomous systems)
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on future-proofing initiatives
- Mentor junior innovators in speculative technology methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with emerging tech forecasting frameworks
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 3-5 year technology predictions
- Certification in Technology Impact Assessment (TIA) or equivalent
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, nanotech, neurotech)
- Published thought leadership on technological ethics or innovation
