- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends in AI, biotech, and sustainable energy
- Present technology foresight insights to investors and board members to secure R&D funding
- Mentor innovation teams on emerging tech ethics and regulatory frameworks
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of human-machine symbiosis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, advanced AI, and synthetic biology
- Experience developing long-term technology roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Strong background in technology ethics and responsible innovation frameworks
- Track record of securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets for experimental projects
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies preferred
- Published author on technology forecasting or peer-reviewed research in emerging fields
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and technology impact assessment methodologies
