Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype future-facing solutions in quantum computing, biotech, and AI governance
- Author visionary whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging technological and societal paradigms
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align corporate strategy with long-term 2026+ vision
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for cutting-edge research
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year future scenario roadmaps
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation (peer-reviewed journals or major platforms)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
