Responsibilities
- Architect and implement quantum-AI hybrid systems for real-world applications
- Lead 15-person research team in developing novel quantum machine learning algorithms
- Secure $2M+ in government and private research grants annually
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on 5-year quantum-AI roadmap
- Publish 4+ peer-reviewed papers/year in top-tier journals
- Drive commercialization of quantum-AI prototypes for Fortune 500 clients
- Mentor PhD researchers and patent at least 3 breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Experience securing $1M+ in research grants
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published patents in quantum-AI integration
- Leadership experience managing R&D teams of 10+
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant roadmap
