Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies with $100M+ R&D budgets
- Lead cross-functional task forces to commercialize quantum applications and biotech integrations
- Forge partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and frontier AI startups
- Present innovation frameworks to Fortune 100 executive boards and congressional technology committees
- Oversee patent portfolios of 500+ future-oriented technologies
- Mentor a global team of 50+ futurists and technology architects
- Author thought leadership in Nature Futures and MIT Tech Review
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Futures Studies with 8+ years industry experience
- Track record of commercializing at least 3 paradigm-shifting technologies
- Deep expertise in AI governance, quantum computing, and climate tech convergence
- Published author in peer-reviewed future studies journals
- Experience securing federal grants and international innovation partnerships
- Proficiency in futures modeling tools (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
