Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026 technological trends across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Coordinate with C-suite executives to integrate future-proof strategies
- Manage cross-functional teams in rapid prototyping and MVP development
- Present findings to board members and venture capital partners
- Establish partnerships with academic research institutions and government innovation labs
- Track KPIs for adoption rates and ROI of future-tech initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futures Studies
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging technologies
- Proven track record of scaling experimental technologies to commercial success
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, Quantum, AR/VR, Synthetic Biology)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong network with tech innovation leaders and research institutions
- Fluency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
