- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budgets through compelling stakeholder presentations and ROI modeling
- Drive patent development and IP strategy for breakthrough technologies
- Partner with academic institutions and government bodies on future-focused initiatives
- Mentor junior innovators while fostering a culture of calculated risk-taking
- Present quarterly innovation forecasts to C-suite and board executives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or product development with 5+ in strategic leadership
- Proven track record launching products with $50M+ market impact
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and futures methodologies
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., CDIO, CPM) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major innovations with measurable outcomes
- Experience securing government grants or large-scale funding
