Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation roadmap aligning with long-term technological vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, neuro interfaces, climate tech)
- Identify emerging trends and disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D pioneers
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an experimental mindset across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership with proven 5+ year planning success
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics)
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable innovation frameworks and patent-protected concepts
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Experience securing $1M+ innovation budgets and managing complex stakeholder ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFS, Foresight Practitioner)
