Responsibilities
- Forecast disruptive technologies (quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, metaverse ecosystems) with 3-5 year precision
- Develop future-proof innovation roadmaps aligning with UN SDGs and ESG frameworks
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives to identify paradigm shifts
- Partner with CTO to integrate exponential tech into product development pipelines
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for executive board and investor briefings
- Establish global think tank networks with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and WEF
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight or emerging technology roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of commercializing future-focused innovations (patents, IPOs, exits)
- Expertise in futures research methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, systems modeling)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures, MIT Tech Review, or similar venues
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Computational Sciences
