Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) to develop strategic roadmaps through 2026
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical innovation with business objectives
- Author comprehensive technology impact assessments for executive decision-making
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for potential partnerships or acquisitions
- Develop scenario-planning models for technological disruptions across industries
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members
- Establish KPIs for technology innovation effectiveness and ROI tracking
- Mentor technical teams on future-focused product development methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or futurism roles
- Proven track record developing long-term technology roadmaps (5+ year horizons)
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology training preferred
- Experience presenting to C-suite and executive stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven strategic planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership on technology trends (whitepapers, journals, conferences)
- MBA or Master's degree in Technology Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field
