Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies through 2026-2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum-AI convergence and climate tech adoption
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-proofing into corporate strategy
- Author trend briefings for industry leaders and policy stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Represent NextHorizon at Davos-style futurist forums and tech summits
- Build patent portfolios around emerging IP opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on tech disruption scenarios
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-proofing implementations
- Fluency in scenario planning frameworks and Delphi methodology
- Clearance for high-impact R&D collaboration
