Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market disruptions, and societal trends relevant to 2026
- Develop comprehensive strategic frameworks and roadmaps for technological adoption and innovation initiatives
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align futuristic visions with business objectives and investment priorities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic insights
- Produce high-impact reports and presentations for stakeholders on future scenarios and opportunities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and industry pioneers to stay at the innovation frontier
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory landscapes affecting future technology deployment
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, Future Studies, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, climate tech, or neurotech
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data from diverse sources
- Outstanding communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences and boards
- Strong network within futurist communities, think tanks, or technology research organizations
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks for future scenarios
