Responsibilities
- Anticipate and map global technological, social, and economic trends through 2030+ horizon scanning
- Design and lead strategic innovation initiatives in quantum computing, neurotech, and sustainable ecosystems
- Develop scenario-based roadmaps for enterprise adaptation to paradigm shifts
- Chair cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping next-gen human-AI collaboration systems
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and frontier tech startups
- Present strategic foresight findings to board members and key stakeholders
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial initiatives
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology roadmapping
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused projects with measurable impact
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) a plus
