Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and sustainability domains
- Develop 2026-2030 strategic innovation frameworks and scenario-planning models
- Interface with venture capital partners and emerging tech incubators for early-stage opportunities
- Present futures intelligence to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Architect proprietary foresight methodologies and trend-prediction algorithms
- Drive thought leadership through white papers, keynote presentations, and industry forums
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of anticipatory innovation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology verticals (e.g., synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Exceptional scenario-planning and systems-thinking capabilities
- Experience with AI-driven trend analysis tools and predictive modeling platforms
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar institution)
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications
