Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI/ML systems deployed by 2026
- Lead stakeholder workshops with engineers, policymakers, and community groups
- Conduct risk assessments for emerging AI technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces)
- Author white papers and industry standards for responsible AI deployment
- Mentor a team of ethics specialists across global R&D centers
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure regulatory compliance in 15+ jurisdictions
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI ethics governance or responsible tech leadership
- Expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and emerging global frameworks
- Published research on algorithmic bias mitigation or value alignment
- Experience with cross-cultural ethics negotiations in multinational contexts
- Proficiency in Python for ethical auditing of AI systems
- Track record of influencing policy at state/national level
