Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a professional and enthusiastic demeanor at event entrances and registration areas.
- Assist with event setup, including furniture arrangement, signage placement, and equipment checks.
- Manage ticketing, registration, and check-in processes efficiently under pressure.
- Maintain order and safety at crowd control points and ensure venue regulations are followed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to attendees, vendors, and VIP guests.
- Perform light cleaning and breakdown duties to ensure the venue is left in pristine condition.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless event experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or event staffing is a plus but not required.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods (4-8 hours).
- Reliable transportation to and from event locations.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shift lengths.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
