Responsibilities
- Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes on scheduled routes, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean and organized walking area, picking up waste immediately to ensure a pleasant environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of pets during walks, reporting any changes or concerns to the pet owners promptly.
- Administer medication or specific instructions (e.g., feeding) as directed by the pet owner.
- Provide timely updates and photos to pet owners after each walk to build trust and satisfaction.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and traffic laws while on the job.
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for dogs and a strong desire to provide excellent care.
- Previous experience in dog walking or pet sitting is preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Physical stamina to walk 1-2 miles comfortably in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to pass a background check and provide references.
