Responsibilities
- Execute safe and enjoyable dog walks for clients, including dogs of various sizes and energy levels.
- Ensure all dogs are leashed securely and under control at all times during the walk.
- Adhere to strict sanitation standards by promptly collecting and disposing of waste in designated areas.
- Monitor the health and well-being of the dogs, reporting any signs of illness, injury, or behavioral changes immediately to the pet parent.
- Provide basic training commands and positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior.
- Update clients with daily photos and text reports to keep them informed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and clean walking equipment.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Must have a strong physical fitness level to handle dogs of all sizes and walk for extended periods.
- Proven reliability, punctuality, and a trustworthy character.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
- Experience with dogs is preferred but not required; we provide full training.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
