Responsibilities
- Walk & Exercise: Provide daily walks for dogs of all breeds and sizes to ensure physical exercise and mental stimulation.
- Pet Care: Feed pets according to their dietary requirements and monitor their overall health and behavior during visits.
- Hygiene: Clean up after pets immediately and maintain a high standard of cleanliness during all outings.
- Communication: Provide detailed updates to pet owners via text or app regarding their pet's mood, energy levels, and any issues encountered.
- Home Safety: Ensure home security by checking locks, windows, and appliances before leaving.
- Administration: Maintain accurate logs of visits and handle cash/card transactions for add-on services.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional dog walking or pet sitting experience preferred.
- Passion: Genuine love for dogs and a patient, calm demeanor.
- Reliability: Punctual, consistent, and trustworthy with keys to client homes.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to walk 2-5 miles per day and lift up to 50 lbs.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and provide proof of liability insurance.
