Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet every customer with a warm welcome and provide exceptional service to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card transactions with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Assist with inventory management, including scanning items and restocking shelves as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout area at all times.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and courteously.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is a plus but not required.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with POS software.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a strong focus on customer service.
