Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to standard recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently during peak hours.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers, including regular sanitization of equipment and seating areas.
- Engage with customers warmly, take accurate orders, and address inquiries or complaints with a positive attitude.
- Upsell products and promote current promotions to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house and back-of-house team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
- Reliable transportation and a consistent attendance record.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Passion for coffee and a desire to learn new brewing techniques.
