Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Oversee all store operations during weekend shifts, including opening and closing procedures, inventory counts, and visual merchandising displays.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of part-time associates, providing mentorship, conducting shift briefings, and ensuring high morale and productivity.
- Customer Experience: Handle high-volume customer inquiries and complaints with a smile, resolving issues efficiently to drive customer loyalty and retention.
- Sales Achievement: Drive weekend sales targets by motivating the team to cross-sell and up-sell products effectively.
- Loss Prevention: Monitor the sales floor to prevent shrinkage, adhere to cash-handling policies, and ensure the security of the premises.
- Administrative Duties: Manage daily paperwork, including sales reports, scheduling, and submitting timecards accurately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of retail management or supervisory experience required.
- Availability: Must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (Weekend availability is non-negotiable).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers and staff.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime during peak holiday seasons or special events in Nashville.
- Integrity: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to company policies and procedures.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
