Responsibilities
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) Systems: Efficiently process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide product recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Merchandising: Organize merchandise on shelves, restock inventory, and ensure the sales floor is clean, tidy, and visually appealing.
- Store Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the overall appearance of the store, including cleaning restrooms and fitting rooms.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations during peak weekend hours.
- Loss Prevention: Monitor the sales floor for any discrepancies and adhere to company security policies.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) consistently.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and staff.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for cash handling and inventory counts.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs) for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
