Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting with product selection to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Restock merchandise on shelves and racks, ensuring that all products are displayed attractively and organized according to company standards.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately and handling cash, credit, and gift card payments.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking stock levels and reporting shortages or damages to management.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve weekly and monthly sales targets and store goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment by sweeping floors, organizing fitting rooms, and adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required for immediate consideration.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and price checks.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts during peak holiday seasons.
