Responsibilities
- Sort and Process Packages: Accurately organize incoming and outgoing shipments according to route and priority.
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and scanning devices.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage and ensure proper packaging standards are met.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels during peak weekend hours.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to internal teams and resolve any logistical issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for at least 4 hours per shift.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Reliability: A track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic computer systems.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
