Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Sales Support: actively participate in sales initiatives, upselling products, and achieving individual and team targets.
- Store Operations: Maintain the visual merchandising standards, organize displays, and keep the sales floor clean and organized.
- Transaction Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale using our POS systems.
- Inventory Management: Assist with receiving stock, checking inventory, and restocking shelves as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the weekday staff to ensure seamless transitions and operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and some weekday evenings as required.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers and team members.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Reliability: A dependable work ethic with a strong focus on punctuality and attendance.
- Tools: Basic computer literacy and comfort with using handheld scanners and POS terminals.
