Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with inquiries, product recommendations, and transaction processing.
- Store Operations: Maintain the showroom floor to company standards, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all visitors.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and product availability.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the weekend management team to execute daily operational goals and special promotions.
- Point of Sale (POS): Accurately process sales transactions and handle cash or digital payments with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem Solving: Address customer concerns efficiently and escalate complex issues to the shift supervisor when necessary.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with the ability to work rotating shifts or fixed shifts as assigned.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; experience in retail or logistics is a plus but not mandatory.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customer groups.
- Reliability: Proven history of punctuality and dependability in previous employment or academic settings.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and navigate the retail floor efficiently.
- Technology: Basic computer proficiency and comfort with handheld scanning devices.
