Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV systems and foot patrols to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
- Respond to emergencies, medical incidents, and security breaches with calm professionalism
- Verify credentials and provide exceptional customer service to VIP guests and staff
- Maintain detailed incident reports and activity logs using digital security platforms
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical situations
- Conduct thorough perimeter checks and access control at entry/exit points
- Operate advanced security equipment including metal detectors and communication systems
Qualifications
- Valid California Guard Card (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year security or customer service experience
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and work in varied weather conditions
- Strong observational skills and conflict de-escalation abilities
- Flexibility to work Friday/Saturday nights (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic computer proficiency for reporting systems
- Clear background check and drug-free certification
- Must possess reliable transportation to downtown LA locations
