Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and vital sign monitoring during weekend night shifts
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and medication administration
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation systems
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure seamless transitions between departments
- Handle emergency triage and urgent patient care protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced healthcare setting
- Availability for weekend nights (Friday-Sunday 7PM-7AM)
- Proficiency in electronic health records (Epic/EMR preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional communication and crisis management skills
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift 25+ pounds
