Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly, professional demeanor upon entering the store.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide detailed information about merchandise.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges courteously and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and stockroom.
- Support the store manager with inventory management and visual merchandising displays.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention protocols.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (shifts may be 4-6 hours).
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions.
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays as well as weekday evenings.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally to restock shelves.
