Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with product inquiries and purchases.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process transactions efficiently and handle cash or digital payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor by stocking shelves, folding merchandise, and ensuring product availability.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and implement merchandising displays that drive foot traffic.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges with a positive attitude, adhering to company policies.
- Assist in inventory management, including counting stock and reporting shortages or damages.
- Ensure the security of the premises by monitoring the sales floor and adhering to loss prevention protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates.
- Must be available to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays, with flexibility for shift changes.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
