Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide detailed information to meet their specific needs.
- Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems while maintaining high standards of cash handling.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Stay informed about product inventory and promotions to effectively upsell to customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with POS systems.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
