As a Weekend Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store operates smoothly during peak weekend hours. You will be the face of our brand, interacting with customers and maintaining our high standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, answering questions and providing product recommendations.
- Store Operations: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including shelving, inventory checks, and restocking.
- Transaction Management: Accurately ring up sales at the register, handle cash transactions, and process returns or exchanges efficiently.
- Merchandising: Ensure product displays are fresh, accurate, and aligned with company visual merchandising standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a seamless workflow during busy weekend shifts.
- Opening/Closing Duties: Assist in opening procedures (counting drawers, unlocking doors) and closing procedures (security checks, store closing).
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with the ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings or late evenings.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact positively with a diverse customer base.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations with accuracy.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and move around the sales floor frequently.
