Responsibilities
- Receiving & Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing lists, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick items from the warehouse floor and package them for shipment using appropriate materials.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are up to date using our warehouse management system.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move heavy pallets and goods.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and compliant with all OSHA safety regulations.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in fulfilling customer orders with speed and precision to meet daily KPIs.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and paperwork.
- Basic Math: Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic arithmetic.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification is highly desirable.
